A Week with Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa Preece watched Claire and Connor while Richie and I were in Italy. I couldn't ask for better in-laws! The day we left for our trip, Becky slept at our house so we could leave early for our flight. Then Connor started throwing up in the middle of the night! We stayed up most of the night with a barfing baby, but then Becky assured us in the morning that everything would be fine and to just enjoy our trip.

Becky knew how much we were missing the kids, so she sent us pictures of the kids to give us little updates.

Here's Connor with his favorite Mr. Owl.

Becky even drove Claire down to Herriman (from Kaysville) to attend Lily's birthday party. She got to see Nana and Papa Gwilliam while she was there.

Nana did fun activities with the kids, including a tea party with Caydence and Will.

Nana took Claire to dance twice, and then to a t-ball game once. Aunt Tarin helped get Claire's hair ready for t-ball pictures (notice how cute her hair is in the picture). Before the t-ball game, they drove to our house and let the kids play there for a while.

Becky teased us about how many binkies we keep stocked up.

When we got off the airplane, Becky had stocked our fridge and had a dinner waiting to be put in the oven. The kids were excited to see us, and the next couple days Claire could only talk about her time with Nana and Papa. Thanks Becky (and Terry) for watching the kids and letting us go on a trip together!
