For the 4th of July, we stayed here at the house and my family came over to celebrate.
Claire and I wore our matching vests that my Nana Savage made for me and my mom.
Claire and Connor looked so cute in their patriotic outfits!
Patriotic little family.
Connor was NOT impressed by all the picture taking haha.
Claire, however, doesn't mind being the center of attention. :)
Connor cheered up a little once we gave him his favorite corn toy.
We all had dinner together and then did a water balloon fight.
Claire thought it would be funny to throw a balloon right at Daddy!
It started sprinkling, so we did our sparklers and pop-its in the garage.
Kate was pretty fascinated at first by the sparklers.
Lily tried blowing hers out once she was all done.
Uncle Landon and Connor hung out for a while.
The girls all warmed up a little more to the idea of holding a flaming stick.
Yes, Claire was wearing pants under her too-long shirt.
Then the kiddos headed inside to open up some presents.
That night we put the kids to bed and then played some games while we waited for it to get dark. Our house has a perfect view of the whole valley so we had an awesome firework show from our front lawn. It was a great Independence Day!
