Demo Derby

The Demolition Derby at the Cache County Fairgrounds is one of my favorite events of the year. I made Richie rush home from Park City so that we would be sure to make it to this event. Can you imagine anything more entertaining than cars crashing into each other until they can't drive anymore?

Here's a picture so you can see what you're missing out on.

Our Friends, Kyle and Natalie, joined us at the derby.

I can't wait until next year!

Richie and I have been  married for two years now. I can't believe how time flies! The last two years have been the best of my life. We went to Park City for the weekend for one last getaway before Claire comes.

We went swimming..

and out to dinner.

We also did some shopping along Main Street. It was so nice to be able to spend the weekend together. Happy Anniversary Richie!

Fruits and Veggies

During each week of pregnancy, little Claire is compared to a different fruit or vegetable to give an idea of how much she weighs or how long she is. HERE is the link to BabyCenter's slideshow of fruit and veggies.

I took over part of the white board in the Math and Statistics advising office to keep everyone that came through the office updated on Claire's progress. At the halfway mark in pregnancy, I was done working in the office. Luckily, Becca has been keeping the board up to date. Here are some of the masterpieces that she has drawn!

I'll  be sure to update if I get any more pictures! :)

Richie's Birthday

Richie just turned 24! We celebrated his birthday a few different days, and I didn't think to take one picture. Luckily, my Mom took a few pictures when we celebrated in Salt Lake City!

We went bowling and had lunch there with the Gwilliam family. It was so fun seeing our nephews bowl!

On the Preece side, we celebrated Richie's birthday at the same time as our Nephew, Will. Will turned one!

On Richie's actual Birthday, I made him Mickey Mouse shaped waffles and we went out to a movie and dinner.

Happy Birthday Richie! I love you!

Baby Shower 3

My third and final baby shower was thrown by my aunts Heidi, Janet and Sandi. It was at my aunt Heidi's new house and everything was baby themed!

Including me! This tag was put on me right when I walked in the door and I wore it the whole night. It says, "Don't open until September 14, 2012!"

All of the food was delicious and looked like it popped right out of a Martha Stewart magazine.

This was what greeted guests when they walked through the door. I got to take it home with me at the end of the night!

Party favors

Guests could fill a bag of pink candy when they left.

We were sure to snap a picture of the Six Chicks. :)

There were flowers, ribbon, feathers, beads, and anything else girly available to make bows for Claire.

Some of the bows that were made that night.

We got everything that we needed for Claire, thanks to such generous friends and family. Now we just have to wait until she makes an appearance! :)

Baby Shower 2

My aunt Lorna and cousin Alise threw me such a fun baby shower! It was for the Gwilliam side of my family, along with a few family friends.

A few of the guests

The craft was to use ribbon and scrap booking paper to make hangers to keep in Claire's closet. Such a cute idea! I can't wait to hang Claire's outfits on these hangers.

This is me opening gifts. Claire got so many cute and thoughtful things!

I wish I had thought to take pictures of the food and decorations. Everything was coordinated and so cute! Thanks for such a fun shower!
