Family Fun

We're so excited that it's Summer time! Summer time means that there's lots of family activities. Here's the most recent...

My family went to a Jazz game during play offs. They lost, but it was still fun to go to! We had a delicious dinner before, and nachos/popcorn at half time.

Richie and I went on a tour of Aggie Ice Cream. We also got ice cream afterwards, of course.

Richie's friend, Dave, got married recently. Congrats Dave! This is outside of their reception.

We also went to Caydence and Paige's ice show. They both did such a great job!

My dear cousin, Lindsey, is getting married soon and we had a bridal shower for her recently. If you want to read more about the shower, my mom did a blog post HERE.

Lily turned one last week! She is getting so big. We love her so much. Again, go check out my mom's blog for a more detailed post HERE. There's a bunch of adorable photos of Lily.

Summer is off to a great start!

New Orleans

For Spring break, we went to New Orleans with my parents, brother and cousin. It was so much fun!

We went on a segway tour of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, the Mississippi, and all through the city.

River boat cruise! The view was so pretty and there was a live jazz band on board.

We went to the famous house of blues.

Cafe Du Monde. They're famous for their beignets and hot chocolate. We went back because going there once was not enough!

Jackson Square was beautiful. We watched street performers nearby and then I had my palm read. The fortune teller said I would be having a baby girl, and she was right! Although, she had a 50/50 shot at getting it right...

We went on a tour of the swamp and got to hold a baby crocodile.

We learned how to make jambalaya, gumbo, bread pudding and pecan pralines. It was all delicious!

We went to the Audubon Aquarium. We also went to a WWII museum.

Here we are at Oak Alley. It was a civil war era plantation.

On the Airplane! We had a great trip!

Richie and I walked on Saturday! I wish I could say that we were both done with classes. I have summer classes that I'll be finishing up in July. Richie will finish his undergrad classes in December and then go straight into his Masters program in January.

Richie joined me at the College of Science Commencement so we could walk together.

Richie and me up on stage getting our empty diploma cases.

Standing on the A.

Both sets of parents came up to watch us walk. Richie's little brother, Matt, also came to celebrate. Our family is always so supportive.

Go Aggies!
