Our First Week Together!

Hello Everybody!

We wanted to start blogging early to keep a "family journal" of sorts. And by starting now instead of later, we wont have any catch up to do.

We don't have any wedding pictures, so we'll have to start with our Honeymoon. We had a blast for a week in Hawaii and have lots of pictures to prove it!

Our first day wasn't too exciting. It consisted of us eating at In-n-out before flying for the rest of the day.

This is us leaving the Grand America Hotel to head to the airport
The view from our room. You can see Diamond Head, and Waikiki Beach
Our first day (Thursday) in Hawaii was a lot of fun, we walked around the beach for a little while, went to the Honolulu Zoo, and met a crazy guy with some parrots that we took pictures with.

Our second day (Friday) in Hawaii was our lazy day. We laid (and played) out on the beach, ate dinner at a steakhouse and enjoyed the sunset on Waikiki Beach.

Our third day (Saturday) was a busy one, we woke up early, got on the bus, and headed to the Aloha Stadium for the swap meet, where we found lots of great deals and cute things!

The Fourth Day (Sunday) we relaxed a lot, played games, and got dinner at an Italian restaurant.

Italian food!
Our Fifth Day (Monday) was one of our favorites! We went to the U.S.S. Arizona memorial, the U.S.S. Missouri memorial, and the Pacific Aviation Museum. We were fascinated by all the history and information aboard the U.S.S. Missouri battleship. In case you didn't know, the treaty ending WWII against the Japanese was signed on this boat.

On our sixth day (Tuesday), we hiked to the top of the Diamond Head crater, got shave ice, and went to a luau. The view from the top of Diamond Head is magnificent, and the Luau was a blast!

On our final day (Wednesday), before our overnight plane flight back to Utah, we made one last stop at the Bishop Museum. This place was really neat! We saw things like homemade lava, and a 3-d globe showing things such as earthquakes, fault lines, and almost whatever else you could want to see about our planet.

There was a giant wall of small metal objects that would move when you punched this thing
This windmill would also move the metal
If you look closely, you can see a small submarine that I am controlling

We had a great time in Hawaii! Even though we didn't get to see and do all we wanted, we were still able to have a wonderful time seeing all the sights in Hawaii!

Looks like so much fun. I just have one question...What is HOMEMADE lava?
